Where normally dappled light filters through the leaves around my deck today it was all about the eclipse as each crescent shape appeared through the breaks in the leaves. It was magical

I was halfway between Fossil and Mitchell with no trees about so I missed this phenomenon, SO cool!! I heard people talk about it on the Lars Larson show. One guy also said that there were a lot of bees in his garden on one of those bee-loved bushes, and at the beginning of the eclipse all the bees left except for the bumbles, and then during the totality, they went to sleep!! And then woke up and started buzzing around again when it was over!
