After last night's hasty shot with my old camera I decided to try again tonight with my new one. This one was also without a tripod, Robert. ;.} I had a closer view which was even more magnificent but not framed as well.
@dtischler Thanks, so much, Dana. I posted this one and the other one side by side in my album and was amazed at the difference. I thought the first one was great ........until I saw this one!;.}
Cool....just looked at the EXIF. I am sure you have a manual setting on this camera, and once you get a tripod, shoot the moon with the self-timer. Set the camera to the smallest f-stop (meaning largest number, which I think is f/8 on yours), ISO to AUTO and shoot @ maybe 1/100th to begin. Play with the settings and keep trying.
@noaceyet Robert, I so appreciate your encouragement and advice. I am still so far from following it with any kind of knowledge. I need to learn how to navigate around the camera and remember where everything is first. Don't give up on me and,again, thanks for the kind words.
@noaceyet "The above picture is awesome for hand-held" That is what I was going for!;.} I had to write your advice down so I can remember it to try! Thanks, again,Robert.
@vskolnik Touched that you took the time to comment on it Vee! Thanks so much! If you havve the time look at the previous one taken by my old camera the day before this one! sometimes it IS the camera!
