Chainsaw

Our neighbor had some branches cut off their trees today and when I HEARD the chainsaw I knew what my entry for this week's theme was going to be.
Hope you didn't have to hear him scream when he cut into his right boot..ugh!

Oh my . . I hate to watch this!! Scary. But I know how much men like to do this kind of thing. PERFECT for the theme, Katy. And great candid catch.

I hope that I will never be so old that I lose my lust for the sound of a good chainsaw and the raw power it transmits to the user. I talked my wife into buying me a brand new Husqvarna for my 64th birthday. True, I no longer need it since moving to Texas but still can't quite bring myself to live without it. Fortunately, I work alongside a running stream aptly named Brushy Creek that has lots of dead trees, bushes and overgrowth that I can thin out when I get absolutely bored silly working inside. No gym membership for these old bones. Just good ole outdoor exercise.

Nice pic for the theme katy...but I was thinking the same thing as Mike O. It doesn't look like the safest stance for what he's cutting...yikes...
