Cold Cabbage

Harvest time for the cabbages! We went to my husband's store today to feed the gold fish in a nearby pond and to bring the cabbages home. Our weather was quite cold for us today and one of these will taste very good for supper tonight.

So how do you prepare this? Do you use meat to make a cabbage stew?

@digitalrn We got several heads and I just boiled one! i also have a recipe for thick slices baked in the oven with bacon bits, fennel seed and kosher salt that is good! My husband likes it best in the crock pot with roast beef , carrots and potatoes! Yankee Pot Roast
