Keeps On Giving

This is a part of my bouquet I got over two weeks ago for my birthday that is still blooming nicely! Yet another reason i like carnations so much! they last a very long time!

@cdonohoue Thanks,! I think they opened even more while I was gone! I started traveling overseas about 14 years ago with a school group and have enjoyed it a lot! I also used to take a vacation every summer with my sisters in the US!

I know carnations have a long shelf life, but I didn't know they would last 2 weeks. I'm glad they were there to greet you when you returned. :-)

@pasadenarose Let me tell you there is STILL a little bit of life in them! they aren't as vibrant and full as they were but they haven't completely given up yet either!
