The way you have placed the character increases the notion of motion as he moves out of the picture. That's a great foreground too, with those lines in the pavement.

I used to follow people to get shots like this! The next step was to
be brave enough to shoot as they approached! Those wiggly lines really add interest. You could try rainy day shots like this too.. look good if the wet ground is very reflective.
