Bluebonnets up close

I took photos at two blue bonnet patches today, they were very near each other. These were in a small patch of only a few plants, their color was darker than the other patch. When I first saw them, I was not sure they were bluebonnets. The blue bonnets in the other patch had blue at the bottom and white at the top and some of the centers were pink. I liked this one because of the color and shape.
I used the Lomo camera effect on this one.

What a beautiful bonnet! I haven't seen them like this before but now I've got a new quest, lol.. I like this composition very much..

@buggus Thanks! I had never seen any either, until these. They are along the access road on Hwy. 820 near Lake Worth. There was only one little patch with two bunches in it. The multi-colored ones were very close by.
