This patch of bluebonnets was perhaps twenty feet from the tiny patch of very deep blue, almost purple ones that I posted yesterday. You can see the white tops of these, some have white centers and some of these have a pink center.
No photo op today, hope for better chance tomorrow.

Beautiful flowers. I think I like these better than the darker purple but both kinds are very pretty. I've never seen bluebonnets anywhere other than Texas but they must grow other places too.

However, I have lived here at least 23 years and never heard of a pink / red bluebonnet or a solid blue/almost purple one until this year. I thought they all looked like these.
