Ugly Duckling

Taken yesterday. This duck has many different colors and patterns. It appears to be a hybrid of some sort. This is a very nice, tame duck. A man was hand feeding it.

What a cool shot, Linda. We have a duck that has a bit of that red on its face at our park. Have not seen it in a bit though. Took tons of photos of it back a ways. I am so glad that the ducks at our park are coming out of full on mating season and eating more and coming to us to eat once again. Ducks are so awesome.

When I grew up in Florida, all the ducks seemed to have red on their heads like this in varying degrees. Quite unusual and haven't seen them anyplace else.
