I liked the pattern on it's wings, the nose, the color variations, the curve of his head and neck, and the ripples in the water. I thought about close cropping it to get just the pattern on the wings, but preferred this with all the many patterns. Best viewed large.
This is from the pond that I visited often last year. The park and pond went through a renovation which turned out well.
Thank you for viewing and your comments.
@anazad511@darsphotos Thank you for the FAV's. It means a lot to me. I was afraid that I would have to start learning all over since I have not been taking photos for such a long time.
@darsphotos Thank you! It took a while to find a doctor to help, I just had to get better so I can attend my only grandchild's graduation in a couple of weeks. Maybe I will post a photo of her, if I can get permission.
@grannysue Linda, your photo of the goose is great! The attention to detail that you showed in this photo are spot on! What part of Texas are you in? I was visiting a very close friend of mine in Midland, Texas last month.
@thirdjoe Thank you for your comments, I appreciate them. We are near Fort Worth. This photo and the one of the egret were taken at a city pond - nearby Fort Worth. Tonight's posting will be another photo taken there.
@grannysue I know how hard it is to find a Dr to help. I hope you are able to attend your only grandchild's graduation. I hope to see a post of her graduation. I am sure you can get permission. I would think if you take photos outside and she is ok with having her photo here that all will be well. I have asked my son if it is ok to post photos I have taken of him playing his music just so I am not invading his privacy. Take care.
Great shot though
