We spotted a few male deer grazing in a pasture just off the roadway. I used my 55-250 lens because that is the only one I had with me.
Thank you for viewing and commenting on my photos, I appreciate it.
Adorable scene. Looks as if something attracked their attention, they look in the same direction. I love your nature shots (not least because I live in town). It's a pleasure to follow you.
@lastrami_ Thank you for your nice comments. This was taken less than 5 miles from my home, going further away from town. These two were looking back towards another one. I caught the other one with it's mouth open, looks like he was calling out for the others.
@drumchik14009@mittens@snuffbeastly@craftymeg Thank you! These were less than 5 miles from my home, down a road that is mostly traveled by the people that live on the ranches around there.
@olivetreeann Ann, sorry, they were both males. One just had what they call buttons, just broke through the hide an inch or so. I have another photo of him where you can see them. No females were around. My husband says that sometimes the males run together when it is not mating season. The females also hang out together with their young. Did not see any does in this group.
