Easter Monday

4.49 pm: The outer canal behind my house. The weather was lovely again and many people got their boats out on this bank holiday. The building in the background is Leiden University's Observatory.

I can't believe the second picture was taken only a month ago - a complete transformation has taken place. I love spring!

I remember the mist shot - wouldn't have guessed it was the same canal. Very interesting having the observatory so close in to the town. You live in a beautiful place - it makes such a difference having water around. (I would like the sea closer but we have to manage with the river.)
