Sheep clouds by halkia

Sheep clouds

12.04 pm: There was a striking sky at mid-day when I took my daughter to a nearby little playground. I took a shot of these cirrocumulus clouds (if I identified them right) or sheep clouds as we call them in Dutch. A seagull happened to fly by at an opportune moment. SOOC.

My temporary extra album features my daily self portrait for the May challenge: http://365project.org/halkia/themes-extra/2011-05-08

I think these clouds are the first telling of a change of weather, maybe rain... Great shot of them!

Prachtige foto. Hier hadden we van die uitgewaaierde wolken (windveren); ook mooi om te zien!

Cotton candy clouds. Great capture and the seagull really adds to the complete picture.

I love the sheep clouds. The leaves frame this photo very nicely as well. Very pleasing to the eye.

Beautiful sky picture. One of the best I have seen yet. Love how you got the trees, clouds and the bird flying by. Very nice composition.

Lovely, is that a fig tree? We sometimes call them popcorn clouds when they get like this.
