10.55 pm: The Hague's new skyline, taken from my work's doorstep during a break in my evening shift. I had a long and hectic day. I was up at 7.30 with the girls, then left for work at 1pm only to arrive back home at 3.15 the following morning. Luckily I got a cab almost straight away but it turned out to be one with an extraordinarily talkative driver.
This was my last late shift until early September. Things will quiet down considerably now. The next two weeks I'll have to work on my backlog but after that I will be off work for a while :)
@grannysue Thanks! The statue is of William of Orange (1533), also know as William the Silent. He was the first Prince of the House of Orange-Nassau (our royal family).
