3.51 pm: Twelve years ago to the day @realjaco told me he was in love with me. Finally - I had seen the light several weeks before so this was what I'd been waiting for. We've been inseparable ever since. Today we celebrated our anniversary by visiting the pub we met twelve years ago (we were sitting at this very table!) and going for dinner without our children afterwards. We had a lovely evening while my parents babysat the girls.
@rich57 Lol, it does make sense but we would never actually say this in Dutch. We keep it very simple and say 'gefeliciteerd' (congratulations) on all happy occasions: birthdays, weddings, graduations, births, you name it.
