4.19 pm: Today was a huge day for our girls, as we celebrated Sinterklaas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinterklaas) this afternoon/evening with my inlaws. There were eight adults and seven children present, four of whom still firmly believe in the Sinterklaas character. The photo shows our elder daughter playing with two of her cousins. Sinterklaas did a great job this year - our girls were literally overjoyed with the presents they received :).
@judithg No, Saturday night usually turns out to be most convenient! That gives the children the chance to play with their presents on Sundays :) We won't give them presents again at Christmas. Some people in the Netherlands do exchange presents at Xmas but that's usually people without (small) children. With children it's absolutely impossible to escape Sinterklaas.
