11.31 am: Very manic weather - we had sun, rain, hail, snow and strong winds today. We took a short drive in the surrounding countryside this morning with the girls. These are the Kagerplassen, a large fenland lake system to the northeast of Leiden. I took this picture from the car window when the car was driving at considerable speed and am kind of pleased with how it turned out.
I came down with some sort of flu today. That explains why I've been feeling energy-drained since last Thursday.
