5.46 pm: The light was very harsh today, even late in the afternoon. We had another party to go to this weekend: my father-in-law's 70th birthday, combined with my parents-in-law's 45th anniversary.
The girls spent loads of time with their cousins in the child-friendly venue (look at those ugly fences surrounding the water...) allowing us to catch up with the assorted relatives.
