For my money the best sound around, still. Warmth and depth that a CD cannot mimic and there is something about the sound of the needle dropping into the groove and music coming up.
I will break these out and play a platter or two on the weekend. The sequencing of the songs on the album telling a story in two parts when done right was magic, something missing from the random play world of CDs.
