Since we retired from milking Harry has occasionally come with me to Garstang to do the food shop. Today we were twice as long as we stopped four times to talk farming to his cronies ! They say women talk ! Seriously it's so good to see him in relaxed mode, dairy farming was such hard work & he never got any time off. This is Garstang Market held every Thursday along the High street.

That's brilliant - a whole stall for men's hats - looks like he's veering towards those Aussie leather trendy ones at the top - I'm thinking nice Panama - they are very 'in' this seaon (all over Topman!)

Pat, nice one , lovely street scene and a fine collection of hats....actually I might post a pic of one of my 'summer' hats...I bought a 2 euro hat in spain last year, great for beach wear , 2nd row 2nd in from RHS ..like @judithg Judith says , very trendy wear for this summer (see I'm a 50 something trendy bloke)
Wonderful shot of the marketplace! The Aussie style hats seem to have caught his eye...even if he didn't buy one. It's good that your Harry is able to kick back and enjoy himself now! Sounds like he deserves it!!
@phil_howcroft I keep telling him hats are trendy this year but he says he's not that trendy but he is wearing a Fat Face shirt !! @peggysirk Thanks Peggy yes was worried when he retired but has taken to it like a duck to water !
