We went on a walk last night, Harry & I with daughter , son-in-law & granddaughter. We walked all through the fields on a public footpath through our old farm having a good nosey & then to the village pub where we had a drink & a pudding , rhubarb & strawberry crumble & custard for me. By the time we left there it was close on 10pm so was dark when we wended our way home across the fields. We had to go through a wood so there was much merriment as we slipped & slithered home ! I quite liked the semi darkness of this shot & the sky was quite light as there was a moon. I have lightened it a bit..hope you can see it !!!! Have just thought both men went rushing off because they could hear a tractor mowing leaving us girls to get up the bank as best we could !!!
Looks and sounds like the perfect day Pat - what a great way to end a day of catching up with family. Tim and I are still in NSW - just grabbing some quick peeks at 365 with limited internet access.
Lovely shot and commentary. This also remind me of my archaeology days when I was involved in rural digs and we used to trek a fair way to get to the pub - getting back could be interesting :-)
We've enjoyed that place and the walk back to old farm once or twice!
