Really tired tonight! We have got most of the physical work done today, trestles up & covered with white paper & draped with black skirts , muslin on the walls & staging set. Tomorrow we have to mark out with ribbon 35 squares measuring 2' 6'' for each floral art entry & then number up which means putting all the competitors number out , one for each exhibit. Here we are having our lunch in the field, there were twice as many but I forgot to get my camera out until we had finished eating . As you can see lovely weather !!
@snowy@peggysirk@phil_howcroft Thanks so much for the comments folk ! Please excuse me over the next 5 nights if I am a bit lax with the comments , I will do my best !!
You must be shattered - the weather is doing you proud though - fingers crossed for the weekend. And get those flower arrangement sizes right or there will be trouble with those cut throat classes!!!
@judithg You are right Judith.. they are all little Divas when they arrive on Friday night to set up their displays ! Have had a little snooze unfortunately during the Apprentice so doing a bit of commenting now.
Great shot, it is so interesting to hear about all the work that goes into setting a show up - it must be lovely all working together to get it all sorted out. I used to love the team work needed as a archaeologist. I do miss that now I have a teamless job. I do volunteering to help out a parkruns so I try and help the events run well for everyone and get to be part of a team as well :-) Hope the weather stays good for you.
Oh .....and I spy a bottle of wine too...very nice indeed :)
