A favourite bowl. by happypat

A favourite bowl.

I use this pretty bowl to put blueberries in for the breakfast table. It is hand made & was quite expensive but was bought specifically for that purpose as I like the table to look pretty for the guests. Unfortunately although I have been very careful, washing by hand etc when I was photoing it I noticed a couple of tiny chips on the rim.Have to decide whether to continue using it or put it on a shelf to look at !!!

I am away this weekend for two nights so will be unable to comment I'm afraid on your pictures.
I am going to try & post tomorrows photo today...not sure whether it will let me !!!
This is beautiful, Pat! And beautifully photographed. I would continue using it as you love the way it looks on the table for your guests. A few tiny chips just indicate that it's well loved. :) Have a wonderful weekend away!

It's beautiful! I don't think anyone would mind little worn bits! Who would want to keep it perfect when it's so lovely to use and love.
Have a nice week end!

This is a lovely bowl, I agree, carry on using it! That's why I prefer nice B&Bs to hotels as things like this have been especially chosen by the owners and are unique!

It's a little treasure, isn't it! I might be inclined to put it on a shelf. Do you suppose the marks were then when you bought it? The camera has a way of showing us the most minute details! Just wondering. :)

Beautiful shot of a lovely bowl. A couple of little chips would not stop me from using it. They would only give it character. Enjoy your weekend away.

Oh I like this, so pretty. Hm tough decision. Do you continue to use it to enhance the table, but risk further eventual chipping or display it and not get the pleasure of using it? I would say it would give more pleasure to continue using it for blueberries.
