I am not a very adventurous cook partly because Harry is a very plain eater so I have no incentive but I have been trying to use more herbs in my cooking lately.
There used to be a large area of mint in the left hand side but strangely enough it seems to have died off last winter.
Love your trowel and fork too - you've achieved the impossible killing mint!! It's rampant in my herb bed which is too far down the garden to be useful...
When you have someone who does not like to explore other tastes when it comes to food, it can be a bit challenging, but perhaps the slow approach, a little at a time will eventually get you to a new place when it comes to cooking. He may not even notice the changes
@digitalrn Your'e right Rick I don't tell him half that goes in but he doesn't like sauces or anything camouflaging the dish so I am fairly restricted !!
@judithg That's what I thought! Killing mint is really quite something! It has spread and spread in some of my garden and I have bought a new plant this year but it is in a buried pot so it doesn't get out of control!!
