@jgpittenger I bought a Cannon EOS 600D Jane. Was thinking about a Nikon D3200 but in the end stuck to Cannon as I am used to the format & jolly glad I did as there are lots of things to learn.
@judithg Thank Judith, am a bit annoyed as the camera shop have forgotten to put the memory card in the box...too much talking going on! Have put my old one in temporarily for now but means another trip to Lancaster tomorrow.
The bikes are so neatly arranged here and don't look locked! Maybe a safe place - Ireland! Interested to see if there is a change with photos from your new camera!
@maggiemae Wel;l we shall see maggiemae but tried to take a night shot just now& the shutter wouldn't even press on auto!!! On the whole though i think it looks easier to manage than my P&S...more instructions & also comes with free 2 hour class.
First of all, congrats to Lydia! Good for her. This photo is lovely ...love your pov and am also pulled to the one in color ... simply because of the painted murals, etc. You'll love your new toy, Pat ... and will have no problem learning it. You already so much about photography. Enjoy. :)
If you can wait another 3 or 4 days get a memory card from 'My Memory' unbelievably cheap and good quality.when I got my new camerea there was no memory card either, cheapskates!!! Oh you are going to have fun!! goody:)) Love this colourful shot, perfectly parked bicycles too!!
That's quite a lineup of bicycles! Good luck to one trying to retrieve his/her bike if it's somewhere in the middle of the mix. Such a wonderful, colorful composition! So excited for you with that new camera, Pat! I think you're going to love it!!
And well done to your Lydia!
Now that I see the shot in color I like it the best. More interest on the wall and the bicycles.
And well done to your Lydia!
