This is Kirsty & Mark with their six dogs ...five Golden Retrievers & one Labrador.
They are here because Kirsty has qualified for a competition which takes place locally over the next two days.
She breeds gun dogs & has eight more at home. They have been three times now & the dogs are so well behaved they are amazing.
They all sleep in a specially kitted out van & we don't hear one bark.
They are on their way back from the morning walk before setting off for the venue. She isn't back yet but fingers crossed for her!
Just heard that Kirsty is through to the next round tomorrow with both dogs!
I am going to post this for the 9th as the same routine will happen tomorrow so I will pretend I took it then!!
how fabulous it is to have lovely B&Bers..............they look so normal!! Hope they do well! I have a Pyrenean mountain dog staying next month....aren't they those enormous white ones? I love having dogs here now we don't have one of our own.........
@fannyb They're back with an extra man in tow but he only has one dog! Harry is going to be busy in the morning!!!! Will be in time to give them all breakfast but am leaving at 8.30 am so Harry will clear all the table...he is a good un! Someone came wanting to stay with a pekineses last Saturday but I didn't take her as the dog would be in the bedroom & not keen on that.
I had to enlarge this so I could see all the goldies! We wouldn't allow dogs in the house either - the cat would be terrified! Walking in their gumboots!
Oh wow they're beauties. I'll have to remember her when I persuade Nige to let me have a retriever! I was just thinking I could bring Monty when you mentioned the well-behaved part!!! @bpaquette - a bit of a lightweight compared with Kirsty!!
