High tide. by happypat

High tide.

I have been to see Les Miserables today & my word such a corker !!!! Loved every minute of it & the audience clapped at the end!!
I enjoyed it so much my mind was taken off the horrors of this wild, angry, deep sea just over the road & a higher level than the cinema!!!
I was so glad I had taken my big camera even though I had to leave it in the office at the cinema.

Three good things:
1.Spending a great afternoon having lunch out again & a spectacular film.
2. Great photo opps.
3. Missing walking in cat sick on the kitchen floor when I got up this morning!
Wow, great capture Pat. It's certainly. I'm seeing Les Mis next week, I've heard nothing but good reviews about it. And glad about point 3! Lol!

Gorgeous capture, Pat! Beautiful contrast of the angry sea against that blue sky. Can't wait to see Les Mis. Glad you enjoyed it.

the blue is deceptive, but the sea looks menacing to be sure! glad you had a fun afternoon of it. (and I particularly like #3)

I love that swirl of foam coming in to the picture - does look wild and tubulent! Did the cinema ask you to leave your camera behind?

the seas are angry at the moment

Wow, that certainly is a high tide. Great capture, Pat. Love the way the railing is outlined against the white foamy wave. Viewed large it is even more spectacular!

Well #3 is definitely a good thing! Did they confiscate your camera then. I must admit that I love a wild sea....

@maggiemae @judithg Yes they took one look at the camera & I had to leave it in the office., must have thought I was going to video Les Mis!! Very nice about it & one of them was looking at my lens & asking where I had got it.

Beautiful photo. They clapped at the end of Le Mis the day Peg and I saw it. That is quite unusual up here.

@happypat Oh well so long as they're camera buffs!

Beautiful composition

Fantastic capture of that wild looking surf! Had to laugh at your #3 good thing...funny how this 'good thing' deal has us seeing things like 'missing stepping in cat sick' as a good thing rather than a day spoiler finding it on the kitchen floor first thing this morning. :)

Haha - I agree with Peggy - #3 is a VERY GOOD THING!

Again, some nice action at the water front. I loved Les Mis. At first I thought, oh my, all this singing, but I focused on the story line itself, fabulous.

brilliant shot Pat, love the angry sea. Glad you enjoyed Les Mis...I clapped after they sang "One Day More"...my fave song .....although on second thoughts it probably ties with "can you hear the people sing" !

A fave for me
