Practicing with my 58mm lens but feel I could have done better, not just as clear as I would have liked but Lily kept moving...that's my excuse anyway!
Three good things:
1. I have been to the end of the lane with my rubber gloves & filled half a bin bag with litter.
2. The decorator has been & I have ordered my wallpaper.
3. I bought a lithium battery for the weighing scales which haven't worked since we got home from NZ....will see if this is a good thing or not when I weigh myself later.!!!!
@fannyb A lens I bought in Singapore Fanny it is a Lens that splits in two & takes macro & wide angle.
Haven't weighed myself for about 6 months but do know I have put some weight on & need to know the damage...how is the two day diet doing by the way....does it work?
Very cool...looks like Lily was pretty cooperative as far as this shot goes! Well done with that fabulous new lens. A 50mm prime lens is next up on my list of must haves. But will also have to look into a 58mm. There always seems to be something to add to the list. :)
@peggysirk I went into the shop wanting to buy a 'nifty fifty' Peggy but was persuaded to buy this two in one lens which seems to work OK but will always wonder if the proper Cannon 50mm lens would have been a better buy!
She's a very good girl sitting nicely for you - I would have a cat's nose print on my lens. Good luck with the scales - I thought you meant kitchen ones for a while but I see you mean the scary ones! All that litter - is that the bin men scattering it? They have to send cleaners down after ours have been but I think it's only because we are quite a visible road!
@judithg No Judith for some reason cars stop at the end of our lane, sometimes to use a mobile or just to empty their car of rubbish. drink cans, fish & chip cartons etc etc it drives us mad & a bad impression. I do think the dustbin cart lets some blow about too.
It took me a few seconds to figure out what I was seeing, now I see the eye. That really is extreme close up. That must be really annoying to have to pick up litter from the end of the lane. Some people are so selfish. I was going to say thoughtless and selfish, but they know exactly how it affects those that live nearby.
This is wonderful, Pat. What beautiful colors she has. You have given me an idea as my cat is sitting very close to me at the moment. Unfortunately, the camera is not within arm's reach!
