One of yesterdays shots from our day in sunny Morecambe, rather liked the slight curve of the bay & the dog walker.
A filthy day here with rain & cold wind...Spring has not sprung yet!! So glad I have nothing to do & no need to go anywhere.
I have just read my book by the fire, Harry has just popped out to put the hens in & feed Henry.
Not much detail in the small shot so if you have the time big is better!!
Three good things:
1. Wigan in the semi finals of the FA cup!
2. Chinese for two tonight...order no. 35.
3. Business is good a the local village butchers...I had to queue out of the door this morning...horse meat scare is good news for some!!!
amazing panorama, do you have a wide angle lens..wondefrul shot Pat oh stupid fingers!! No cooking for me either, left over shepherds pie!!I like both the shots, for some reason the b&w seems clearer but I think I favour this one!!
Viewing this large really brings it to life bringing out the colour along the sea front. Will be interested to hear your answer to Fanny's question too.
@fueast A very bleak beach Alison as you must know but there were lots of dog walkers about. What is your Poppy like... I will have to look back at your pictures & see if there is a photo!
@fueast Ha no...you will have to force yourself out ...should have an ex farm dog like ours, open the door & she takes herself off down the fields by herself!!!!!
love your three things - great news to Wigan and i'm hearing about so many buthers who are suddenly very busy! hopefully it'll keep a few more open for a few more years! Love that everyone's decriptors for the weather - miserable, grim, filthy, etc etc are we back in autumn do you think? Love this bay shot - so Morcambe Bay!
As a life long Everton supporter, I could only see two good things up there, however... enough of that! I prefer this shot, despite the fact that it has less clarity than the B&W, the interest outweighs the technical detail.
Cracking shot. Wigan v Blackburn and City v Utd, a Lancashire final perhaps. As long as Wigan keep losing in the league, I hope they win the cup for Dave Whelan!!
