House number 6. by happypat

House number 6.

We have crossed over the other side of the road now this is quaintly named Chippy Cottage....two retired people live here.
The lane rises a little here as we go back up towards the main road but is still only a car width.

Three good things:
1. Magnificent Magnolias in full bloom all of a sudden!!
2. Deep pink Anemones on the kitchen table.
3. Newly ploughed fields.
House no 6 looks fine to me. Good you have your fields ploughed

Don't get too bored, Pat, not just yet! You say the house is only one room wide. Do the rooms lead out from each other? I really like this house with its diamond pane windows!
April 19th, 2013
@maggiemae It has a central staircase & hallway & then rooms off them, two sitting rooms & two bedrooms so not big at all.The kitchen is on the back, not sure where the bathroom is. It has a very attractive garden & used to win our areas garden competition every year.

This looks huge for 2 people but from what you say it's not so big inside. I like the little archway leading you in and the daffs too.

I see Pat's Estate Agency is flourishing, and how much is this one again?
April 25th, 2013
Yikes - I've gotten behind in commenting again. I realized I was missing your house tour. This is an interesting looking one lone and narrow. I really like the composition and the inclusion of that beautiful blue sky and the daffodil there to let us know the season.
