These are the newly sown wheat fields after torrential showers & rain over the last few days.
Not a very exciting photo but all I have taken today.
You can see a few Canada geese in the distance eating the maize that was left on the field after the crop was harvested last week.
Thank you so much for all the faves on my Peaks photo...totally unexpected, I never ever thought that one would go on PP!
Three good things:
1. I have had a very constructive day tidying & filing in the office & then clearing my wardrobe of summer clothes.
2. I rang our old electricity company to chase up the refund they owe us from our direct debits....the old excuse, the new firm haven't sent in the meter readings even though I have told them three times!
3. I have found a cheaper Post Office to buy my plastic bags for parcels...it was costing me 90p for a bag even before I sent the parcel off!
Good shot of water, water every where !! been pretty wet here too but a better & sunny day here today Spent a little time in he Garden ,cutting down dead stuff with Gary's help . Tha place looks a bit more neat !
well you do live in lancashire Pat....it's renowned for being wet !!!! @judithg jusith I think wet is better than the 'ice station Arnold' winter we had over the last 2 years !
I hope your seeds weren't all washed away! I spent a lovely day with my daughter and new grandson so only have baby photos today. (I don't like to keep posting them)
Congrats on going PP - I love it when that happens!
