Henry is waiting for his stocking.

Our boy Henry is all ready for Father Christmas...just the stocking to arrive on Christmas Eve.
Tui had a nasty accident yesterday & arrived home with a big chunk out of her side. A hole about 3 inches across & quite deep. We have no idea how it has happened but she could have been stuck in some barbed wire although the flesh isn't jagged. We have given her a shot of penicillin & Harry will get her checked out by the vet tomorrow.

Three good things:
1. The last of the presents wrapped.
2. Harry has gone off on delivery duties.
3. Going to the carol service tonight at Cathy & Garth's church, will be lovely to see all our old neighbours too.

Lovely looking warm sheep pen, love the Christmas touches. Henry looks very happy with his decorations. Poor Tui wonder what happened, is she quite free range around the farm? Could be anything, is it a rat or fox bite I wonder? Or gun shot? Hope she gets better soon poor little sausage

@lucypics She is free range about the farm Lucy & just goes off where she wants. I was busy yesterday & can't remember when she came in or out & how long she was away but she might have been frightened by the shooters although I can't remember hearing any guns. She is a bit smelly tonight so will have to go to the vet tomorrow.

I've forgotten - is Tui the dog or the cat? Its a bit worrying as infection or trauma can be devastating! Three inches is big!

Santa Claus leaves presents for sheep, did you know! They are generally edible. Mind you, Henry is a bit old for believing in Santa!

@maggiemae Tui is the dog maggiemae...she seems to be fine although sore but Harry is taking her to the vets this morning.
