Littledale walk by happypat

Littledale walk

A fantastic walk in the hills around Littledale today. Eight of us walked about 5 miles over the fell & down into the valley passing farms & sheep grazing along the way.
The weather was kind to us with only a little light rain & practically no wind.
We had our lunch in a wood sitting on tree trunks, coffee never tasted so good!

Three good things:
1. Picnics.
2. Walking in beautiful countryside.
3. Over trousers.
Lovely shot, totally agree with all your 3GT's

Did they wait for you to catch up?

@claireuk Ha ha we are always at the back aren't we......I did tell them not to wait for me as |I was taking lots of photos & one of the ladies has asthma so she & I were pretty much at the back anyway...her with her breathing & me with the camera.

@maggiemae It's a farm road maggiemae & this is a sheep farm...you can see they are having a bonfire in the yard.
Footpaths in the UK sometimes go through private land & yards...always signposted with yellow markers so you can see the way to go.

Something I am looking forward to when life slows down! Regular walks in the country. I reckon I've got 10 years to wait!! This shows the joys of walking. The companionship, the countryside, the exercise, the fresh air!
