A new kid on the block, I brought this hand made door stopper hen back from NZ. A neighbour of my DIL makes them. She is very smart & has sequins under her wing!
Not very imaginative today with my posting but I am short of ideas & inspiration.
I had my feet done today by Cathy & I am proud to say I had a burst blister on the sole of my foot from last weeks dancing !!!!
Three good things:
1. A letter from Eileen whom I met in the check in queue at Manchester airport & shared a room with in Chester sent me a letter today....it made my day! I lost track of her at Dubai & wondered how she had fared on her journey to Perth.
2. No horses hurt in the Grand National today.
3. NZ have put their clocks back....so much easier to ring when they are eleven hours ahead of us & not thirteen.
Love this hen, sequins under her wings, how decadent! So glad to hear no horses were hurt in the GN, I once placed a bet years ago when there was that mass accident and have never betted on it since because I felt somehow to blame.
She's rather splendid. Good news on the National - our physio from up the road is up there - they have to have a medical (and presumably vet) team on every fence and he is the Jockey Club physio - always good for a bit of gossip about how it all works.
At first I thought it was a teapot cover! This would be pretty big! Yes, put our clocks back and an extra hour to get up and make pancakes for breakfast after chasing the cat from our bedroom very early!
Oooh I want to peep under her wing! How's the new iPad Air going? Finally got my mum's tablet sorted. She hadn't been pushing the wrong buttons as we suspected. Telecom changed their security, sent her an email to tell her what to do but of course she couldn't get in to read it.ni brought it home today and googled etc then got it going. She will be pleased to be in communication again with her grandies. 😊
Nice hen. How cool that you get a random letter (an actual letter, too, none of this email lark) from someone you met in a check-in queue. That - and the dance-blister - reflect rather well on you I think.
