Outside looking in. by happypat

Outside looking in.

"Is anybody there?"

Willow is Cathy & Garths cat & she has this very clever way of letting them know she wants to come inside.

She jumps up and grips the ledge on the back door so that she can see in.
You can hear her feet scratching on the surface & all the time she is meowing loudly.
When the door is opens she drops down inside, fait accompli!

Three good things:
1. Fresh rhubarb for a crumble.
2. All my old geraniums in the tubs seem to be alive & kicking, must remember to feed them. I might get away with not having to buy!
3. Next door neighbour sorted two B&B bookings that had come through yahoo & wouldn't let me reply to them.
Beautifully framed and I like her surprised expression.

I had a cat that did the same, always meant to get a picture of him. He died last summer and my other cat is too fat to be bothered. He just makes the assumption that we will open the door for him and waits, even though he has a cat flap.

Bless her - very cute looking through the door. My sister's cat jumps up and knocks the knocker. They thought they were going mad when he started it! Inspired by Paul Hollywood to make a rhubarb pie I think - I need an enamel plate.

@pistonbroke a few years ago someone sent me what I know now was a Simon cat short video, the one about the cat trying to wake him up. I just loved it & passed it on via email.it wasn't until I saw your post & realised that was Simons cat. I have just watched 'let me in' & laughed so much ....exactly like Willow. Simons cat is also our Lily......she treats Harry exactly the same. Thank you Pete for putting me in the right direction!

Oh my gosh...that is so cute!! So Willow is just clinging to the door with her claws? I love the thought of her hanging on as the door is opened and dropping on in. :)
