These boats were taking visitors to the Farne Islands just visible in this photo on the horizon.
The Farne Islands are a group of about 15 to 20 small islands, depending on the state of the tide, off the Northumbrian Coast.
It was a fabulous daY last Monday when I took this shot, everywhere was so blue.
Sorry I am using my holiday snaps at the moment.....haven't got the incentive to go out with camera & to be honest wouldn't get anything better so am using them.
Three good things:
1. A new rug in front of the Aga.
2. I should be planting up pots & a hanging basket but sitting here commenting instead which I much prefer.
3. Harry has gone bowling so might cheer him up a bit.
These boats look heady ones to go out on that sea which at times I expect, would get very rough! Take it easy Pat, the incentive to do things will come eventually. - just let it happen gradually!
This is fabulous Pat. Love the blues.
Now I'm sure you know what I'm going to say next?
You do !
It's crying out for a letterbox crop. Try it with the amount of light blue sky being half as deep as dark blue sea. Any better ? Still a fave without the crop !
Sooo looking forward to getting back up there. Think we'll try and get over to Holy Island this time. Poor Harry. I can feel a new dog on the cards before too long.
Beautiful shot. Such a wonderful sense of freedom. Take it easy and don't rush things you have had a bit of a rough run lately and you just have to take care of yourself. xx
