Cresting the hill by happypat

Cresting the hill

I am pleased that I managed to go on the Wanderers walk today. Five miles around the villages of Slaidburn & Newton by Bowland.
I made sure that if I felt too tired half way round there was a place I could sit & be picked up later.

Must admit towards the end I was flagging & felt rather disconnected to my body! It was so hot but the countryside looked very beautiful.

Three good things:
1. My niece & Goddaughter gave birth to two identical twin girls at 4pm this afternoon.....Martha Lillie & Ivy Jane.
2. Beautiful countryside all around us.
3. My friend has got her voice back....I could just about hear her on the phone.
excellent perspective

Well done for the walk - a bit hot as you say. I like the way the figures emphasize the enormity and beauty of the landscape.

@padlock @quietpurplehaze thank you both...I was tempted to crop out the field & sky a bit but wanted to show the expanse of the area.
