My letterbox

For the WCYS-7 challenge which has been set by @julzmaioro.

Pretty good theme & I wished I had entered the last challenge of the washing line.

So hot again today but we mustn't grumble......make hay while the sun shines!

Three good things:
1. Harry is cooking tonight...BBQ. I am not a great fan of BBQ's but we have some nice chilli chicken & lamb skewers, I will just sit there with my G&T.
2. People watching this morning as I waited for Harry in Garstang. Observations included lots of various legs to see, babies with hoods on their prams up....where are the lovely canopies we had on our prams with the air blowing through? These babies must be so hot!
3. The best one last.......my friends husband saw George Clooney in the Cartford Inn two or three weeks ago, he didn't recognise him of course! They were staying apparently & some neighbours of ours were moved off their table so that he could have a more private place.

Lovely shot --love the peaceful winding drive . Yes it has been so very hot again today Gary announced we had ants in the conservatory !! discovered it was flying ants all on my voile curtains !! sSo I have re opened the big window and managed to get most of them out !!

@beryl flying ants are a nightmare Beryl...I came home one day & found them all over the kitchen floor...this heat is lovely if you have nothing to do! Think it might be cooler tomorrow. Must admit I think my op has caught up with me a bit ...have been really tired for the last couple of days! Away for the w/e so won't be posting ...give me a little rest.

Need lots of fluids to flush anaesthetic through. Stays in body for sometime. Heat will make you tired too...so combine the two and whammo you have a tired @happypat 😴

Ooh top celeb gossip. He used the local council gym when they were filming at Duxford and apparently were not precious about it. Jeffrey Archer sat next to us in the pub once - Nigel mum 'whispered' very loudly, 'It's Jeffrey Archer' and he got up and moved. The rest if us were dying of embarrassment!

@judithg oh dear ...I have been told today I whisper too loudly...something to do with me being deaf in one ear a bit.....don't seem to know how loud I am talking!
Beginning to wonder if I made more noise with my Hoola Hoop bag than I thought the other night !
