Harvest time down Well Lane.....lots of straw made into round bales & carted back to the home farm on a trailer.
This is the view we get of them going out of the farm gate next to our lovely newish brick wall. Harry said they had just caught it as the took the first load out!
Three good things:
2. The wood store is almost full of wood ready for the wood burner going on...Harry has been for two large trailer loads full today.
2. Hake on special offer today in Booths....guess what we are having for our evening meal?
3. Lots of damsons.
Nice view - I bet you're glad it's someone else's problem! Our new woodstove went in today - they come back tomorrow to 'commission' it, or make sure it works!
Great balanced photo - brick wall anchors the soft hay and the lovely light in the leaves sets the shot off! Wood in the store is like money in the bank for me!
