A fantastic walk today over the fell along side Rydal Water, on to Grasmere & over the other side & back to the car park....about seven miles we thought.
The weather was perfect, no sun but bright & frosty.
We had soup in Grasmere before setting off on the return journey via the Coffin route to Rydal.
Three good things:
1. Badly needed exercise!
2. Stunning countryside.
3. Good company.
@motherjane a great walk Jane from a little car park ...forgot it's name starts with a P......you can walk a circular route high up or lower down on the terraces.
