One of the very nice soft furnishing/ gift shops in Longridge.
Good advice I think!
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments & faves on my last three days of the landscape challenge. All very much appreciated & I enjoyed the challenge very much.
Three good things:
1. I decided to ditch the last books on my kindle & go for a light chick lit novel for a change!
2. Sent off the large cheque for both car insurances.
3. A tax rebate in the post....this should have been number one...it pays for the insurance so easy come easy go!
A gorgeous place to visit Pat -- I love to potter around in such shops nd usually find it difficult to resist spending - have to reprimand and tell myself I do not need it !!
I can certainly support that thought! I think the world needs to stop and have a cup of tea. Such a lovely shop.
Good timing with a check coming in as a check goes out. ☺
@beryl@peggysirk I could have spent loads in here but didn't. In the back part there were some beautuful curtain materials & wallpapers.....I could have redecorated my entire house! Thank you both.
Oh how lovely! I shall try and find that sign for my peace loving, tea loving friend. I've read the book 'Three cups of tea' by Greg Mortenson which explains that the Afghan villagers solve their problems over tea - ironic for a country that has suffered so much violence.
@judithg Well tea can solve everything....if only that were true! Longridge has a few of these little shops Judith....Lydia used to work in one of them. Such lovely things to transform your house these days!
Reminds me of when we were in Turkey - every shop called to you to come and have tea - mostly apple tea. We just about bought a turkish rug - just about - over tea!
Good timing with a check coming in as a check goes out. ☺
Sorry for the group reply but Wolf Hall has just started! Thank you all for your comments!
everyone stops for tea." Your shot reminds me of that great old song.
Great no 3 given no 2!
