Rained most of the day today so you have to have one of yesterday's shopping pictures I'm afraid!
Although I was in a beautuful town with wonderful architecture I was sadly lacking in the photo department! No time really & I had a man with me who gets embarrassed when I stop in the middle of the street & take photos so I rained myself in.
The shop where I spent a little bit of money!
Three good things:
1. A free cook book when I bought fresh fish today.
2. My friend has given me a lovely pudding recipe for Cathy to make for Jacks birthday next week....looks simple & it's delicious apparently!
Well I might make it for her!
3. Lovely juicy clementines.
I love the looks of this shop! Makes me want to go shopping. :)
I think Tom is used to me with my camera. In fact, he likes to point out good photo ops to me...he sees a lot of things that I would miss.
Love your three good things, Pat. Hope Jack has a delightful birthday next week!
@padlock Harry does love shopping now padlock & was quite happy to sit in the chair while I tried on...it's the camera out he's not keen on specially when I stop in mid stride & get in the way of other people! He never shopped at all when we were milking but likes nothing better than going food shopping now!
@peggysirk Yes it would be your type of shop Peggy I am sure...plain & simple with a bit of a twist. Tom is a great asset then I can see......another eye is good!
Lots of goodies to tempt you in this shop! I love the warm feel about the image with the wooden floor and a few autumn coloured things in the foreground.
@dide They do look Autumny Dianne but these are actually the Spring collection....just the colour orange is very popular at the moment...not for me I add but Lydia really suits orange. Not for everyone!
Familiar looking setup except for the wooden floor which is so noisy, I've found unless you have rubber soles which are hardly around nowadays! Except for exercise shoes. I love the colour orange and its in my new duvet covers. Love to know what this easy dessert is - flour, butter, sugar, milk, fruit?
@julzmaioro We have lots of orange here all through the winter & it's still around this coming spring. Quite hard to,wear but looks stunning if it's your colour!
@maggiemae Never noticed the noise maggimae but I agree wooden floors are rather noisy. I do quite like hard floors in some parts of the house as long as they have big rugs down. The recipe is for a desert called blueberry & almond tart....I will let you know what I think when I try it next week!
Nice lighting, I love a good wander around the shops. Poor Harry he wouldn't cope if he was out with me. I stop strangers in the street and ask if I can take their photos, ha ha.
Great capture looks a wonderful place to shop. My hubby used to hate me just stopping mid way and taking a shot but now he used to it!! I think me gets a bit fed up of me pointing the camera at him now, oh but such fun!!
Lovely view of the inside of the shop, love the tones! I got my husband a camera in the hope that he'd snap alongside me. Although he enjoys it it hasn't made him more tolerant of my frequent stops! LOL!
