Catch me if you can..... by happypat

Catch me if you can.....

We took a picnic to the village of Ribchester at lunchtime.
Ribchester is an early Roman settlement & the site of an early Roman Fort made of timber & built around AD 72/73. There is a museum & excavations of early buildings, the University of Central Lancashire students were helping with the dig today.
There was a re enactment on the field with people dressed up as Romans........it looked quite realistic with some of the men really looking the part, horses & battle tents completed the scene.
A wonderful playground in a beautiful place with lots to see & do.

Lydia chasing Max through the trees.

Three good things:
1. Jo's dad stayed for the weekend adding to the fun!
2. Picnics.
3. DVD Handycams.

Sounds like a great day - you are having fun times Pat!

That sounds like a perfectly wonderful day! I'll bet the boys loved the Roman re-enactment.
Good luck to Lydia...Max looks like he's practically flying. ☺

Super fun shot - both moving so fast but you can see the excitement with being chased! Do we remember that! My father used to chase me up the stairs and I just about fell down them with hysteria! Hope you shot a Roman - not literally!

@maggiemae no I didn't get a Roman because the crowd was in the way... You had to pay £5 each to stand on the other side of the rope so we didn't bother.......
