I found this half a rabbit shortbread biscuit this morning in the dining room.......the eye looking at me was nearly my undoing!
I expect Finn would love this just at this minute, the flight has been diverted to Columbo in Shri Lanka. Someone was taken ill on the plane so they have been delayed at least three hours, not so good for all concerned!
Three good things:
1. Flightrader24 for up to date information.
2. Half a shortbread rabbit to eat up!
3. The kindness of 365 friends with offers of meet ups & even beds for my Lydia & Beth whilst traveling round NZ.
I'm glad you won't waste the rabbit! That's the trouble with travel - it would be so much easier if everything went according to plan. Hope the delay won't be as much as expected.
So very sweet! I expect Finn would love to be finishing that off right now...at Gran's house and not in Sri Lanka. Wishing your travelers an uneventful rest-of-the-way home!
@jgpittenger@peggysirk@quietpurplehaze Just heard from Lydia, they are about six hours from Sydney so seem to be making good time. They weren't allowed off at the airport.....poor Jo minding two little boys!
Here's me worrying about a 2 and bit hour flight alone with littlest in sept! All the way nz alone with little ones is tough! It'll seem quiet tonight. Any more visitors due or quiet on family front now? Bet they'll miss you lots!
Naw this has bought a tear to my eye as well.. you will miss those cuddles.. count down till you see them next.. perhaps this technology gives too much information perhaps sometimes it pays to be ignorant and just get a phone call when landed in NZ.. Sun shining today so hope it not too much of a shock for them..

@maggiemae Yes I am entering some photos ...I need to sort them out but am not very hopeful, disappointed in them for some reason, they don't seem to have printed very well for some reason!

So glad they are back on track with their long journey. Skype will be and running soon. Good that you're busy this weekend it will help fill the emptiness. Good luck with the photos. I struggle with the printing I blame the printer but I expect it's me:-) Might have one or two professionally done just to see how they turn out.
Aw this is so sweet. A great story too. Love the card. You must miss them all. I would keep the card and use it as a book mark. That is what I do with cards I get from the grandchildren if the card is small enough to fit into a book. A great reminder of their visit.
Hope they have arrived home in one piece after their delay. Not sure I would want to be left in Sri Lanka if I was taken ill. Hope the patient survived.
