Spent the morning cleaning out the dumping ground that is the office. Not used as much as it was when we were farming thank goodness but I still want it to be tidy & look office like!
I need to get rid of so much stuff I have collected over the years....funny how you go off things such as pictures etc. I think I will take some boxes up to the auction place at Kirkby Lonsdale.
I have taken some things to the charity shop but some things are of unknown value.
Three good things:
1. Harry has started walking for the morning paper again after his knee replacement.
2. I resisted all the lovely Danish pastry type cakes in Morrisons this afternoon even though I was hungry!
3. I bought the ingredients for a super healthy chocolate cake.

@newbank well the recipe was in the Sunday paper. I am going to make it either tomorrow or Wednesday. No flour just ground almonds honey raw cocoa almond milk etc. won't tell Harry it has almond milk in he won't want to try it! Will report & if we like it will pass the recipe on.
@happypat harry sounds like littlest.....We don't always tell him what's in his food. Claims he hates potatoes. When we have potatoe bread we call nana bread as it's northern irish like she is!
Well done, Harry for the walking and well done, you, Pat for resisting Morrison's temptations. (I'm sorry to say that I have no such willpower!) The artist looks very relaxed.
Such a nice candid shot. I would like to bake a healthy chocolate cake - is there such a thing? I find it hard to part with things too and really must tackle our spare room that is full of junk really!
This actually looks hard to hold steady and draw but he's probably only lightly sketching with charcoal or a soft pencil. Good for you for clearing out a room - we have so little room in our new home that I had to be completely ruthless before we shifted in. Now I shift the paintings about to give them all a turn!
This is a great candid capture Pat. He does look like an artist should! Well done for clearing the clutter. Ant is of the 'You never know when it may come in useful' breed. I have to hide things and if he doesn't miss them I get rid when he's not around! gradually but very slowly reducing the rubbish. I'll get caught out one day!
