These daisies were growing among the maize plants...not sure what their proper name is but they are very pretty!
So warm today...not complaining but it's hot work ironing all these sheets.
Three good things:
1. United Utilities have resorted to using ultra violet rods to try & get rid of the bug in our water pipes.
2. Brian in NZ has been asked to take part in an advertisement by the company he buys his palm kernel from. They are filming over two days, yesterday & tomorrow using a drone. Izzy was in it but had to be cut out of the clip because she wouldn't stop barking!
3. Our friend Daniel O'Donnell is taking part in Stricktly Come Dancing. He does a charity dance for us every year & is a real nice chap. I have danced a few quicksteps with him & he is a brilliant dancer....I think he will surprise a few!
Yes I thought looks like camomile should be able to tell by the smell. Wow uou friends with Daniel. Will have to look out for Brian on the add is it Swapps?
@gijsje@julzmaioro@beryl Thank you all for letting me know this was camomile....I had no idea what camomile looked like....must be off down the field tomorrow to have a sniff!
Very pretty daisies - you might see this sort of picture on a wall somewhere! Have to investigate this palm kernel thing Julia says' swapps - I wonder if she means Schwepps? @julzmaioro
I'm surprised they are using palm kernels - thought we were against palm trees being harvested as it rendered the land useless for anything and the animals lost their habitat....or am I thinking of something else?
Looks like camomile. I only know because I took a picture of some a while ago and someone on here told me! The things you learn on 365. Exciting about the filming and good news about your water on the radio this morning. The end is in site!
@dh Well I have got to know him over the years Delena because of our dinner dance where I always sit next to him....had a few quickstep too. He has bad press & comes over really badly on TV but a thourghly decent chap who dies so much for charity. I hope he does really well. They say he has as much rhythm as the Bkarney Stone...I think they will be surprised!
