The painters had to share their fish & chips with Ginger today.
As you can see they weren't best pleased & shooed her off.
She went back of course, nothing will deter Ginger.
I must thank you all for your good wishes yesterday regarding Harry's small brush with the big C. He has lead a very outdoor life so the small brown mark on his chin didn't concern us really until it got unsightly. I pestered him to have it checked & he did so asking the doctor to have a look. They weren't too concerned & said they would keep an eye on it which of course they didn't. Only when Harry had his knee checked by a different doctor was it really looked at again. Two procedures of removing tissue & then chemo cream & looks like we have cracked it. The specialist was very pleased yesterday & he doesn't need to go back for a year.
We were rather shocked by it all so please don't neglect any nasty brown patches!!
Three good things:
1. I have finished the accounts ready to go to the accountant...such a weight off my shoulder!
2. Harry & Paul the window cleaner got most of the Ivy off the front of the house this morning.
3. A new baby next door due in March for the new tenants...they are soon filling the bedrooms up!!
Such a fun shot Pat!! Ginger looks determined!! LOL!! Good advice re the patches and lumps!! Good luck with your decoration - your house will look fabulous when it's finished!!
@beryl I know they were big wimps Beryl....made quite a fuss shooing & flapping their arms. I just picked her up & placed her on the ground......five minutes later she was jumping up again!

Gracious it looks like Ginger can jump great heights! No wing clipping then? She is such a big bird it would be difficult to shove her off the table! Hope the weather remains fine for the painting!
@maggiemae Yes she has had plenty of practice jumping on tables maggiemae......she is certainly thriving as a free range hen, eating all day at anything edible she can find!
