Busking by happypat

Busking

I took my camera out today intending to have an up to date photo today, got into position on the canal bank in Garstang then remembered by battery was empty!
Another Manchester photo I'm afraid!

I spent the morning in A&E this morning with our farmer neighbour down the road. He was loading cattle & one kicked out knocking the gate into David's face. He has had to have stitches across his eyebrow. It was fairly quiet & we were pretty much first in but it still took all morning.

This young man was a beautiful singer, far better than some on X Factor. I put money in his bucket & was amazed at the amount of cash in there. It must have been half full, even a £10 note in there. He deserved every penny!
He was very appreciative of any donation with a lovely smile.

Three good things:
1. A balmy Autumn day.
2. Harry is minding Bramble & Ginger...he loves it!
3. Ready cooked chicken from Booths.
I like the movement in your street shot. Enjoy that chicken.
Ray and Neil have gone to see Spectre so I'm in charge in the kitchen (where I'd rather be!)

It a great scene. He has a big bucket to fill. Your poor neighbor. I hope the warm weather stays around for you for a while.

Great photo. Shame is doesn't come with sound so we can hear him sing. I like looking at the other people too and note how many of them are using their cell phones. We get too attached to them. I hope David is not too sore today.

@quietpurplehaze we are going to see Spectre tomorrow Hazel. Meant to go today but in the end no time. It will be heaving with school children!

Its good that people appreciate a good performance! I would have loved to hear him - he probably is raising money to put himself through a musical degree. A busy photo too. So good of you to take David to A & E - did you tell them that David gate-crashed his party?

Wonderful street scene -- love to see all the hustle and bustle ! Shame we can not hear this young man singing ! Well done you for being the good Samaritan and taking your neighbour to the A&E . Hope his head is not too sore by now !

@maggiemae Ha ha maggiemae, very good! He was a bit shaken up & the first time he had been in hospital since his wife died last year....might be a bit of a shock to his whole system....you keep your end up then something like this can just be the undoing.

@beryl He will be a mess in a day or two Beryl......look black & blue I would think.

I like a good busker and always put money in if I've enjoyed the music. A nice street shot,

You're an angel - nice to think he knew he could ask you. I bet he was better than X factor - seemed to be plenty of good singers but they've only chosen those who belt out songs - especially the girls.

I love the busy street scene and would loved to be able to hear the busker. Your poor neighbour must have had a nasty shock and would have been very glad of your care.

A super street scene Pat and great to hear a busker who is really good. No wonder his bucket was half full. Hope your neighbour is OK. Must have been quite emotional for him.

Nice street capture of the busker. He does look happy. I wonder how much more good talent is out there that we just don't get to see.
