Christmas Eve & I have had a very lazy day so far. On the phone lots this morning & sitting by the fire this afternoon. Only the turkey to cook tomorrow so no preparation much there. We are going to our daughters for Christmas Day, I am taking the turkey but Cathy doing the rest.
Talked to Anthony in NZ earlier & the little boys there were in bed with full stockings at the end of their beds. We will ring them later this evening after they have opened their presents.
Off to church at 8pm & then out in the village at the local pub.
A picture of our increasingly cluttered dresser, everything gets put on there.
Three good things:
1. Watched a lovely film about a baby penguin, so cute. Those film makers are extroadinary.
2. No rain today just hailstones.
3. Beautiful Christmas music.
@gamelee ha ha after last years fiasco not many! Last year my turkey was enormous & a great problem getting it cooked, so Stressful! Google Mary Berry or Delia! Good luck Lee.
I love your dresser - full of wonderful objects and memories and it looks so homely and welcoming . Enjoy your evening and have a wonderful Christmas Day with the family at Cathy's -- how lovely to be pampered all day !!
This is a real display here - all are treasures to be photograhed! Difficult to dust though I find - got to have that feather duster! I love the Christmas music too - and once Christmas is past, its all gone! There is no "New Years' music!
Happy Christmas!
