The Arts weekend in Hamilton Gardens this weekend & this young boy practising his violin made a stark contrast to all the other children who were playing in the swings & climbing trees!
He was playing Thine Be the Glory beautifully.
Ivy's birthday party this morning & then a swim before a visit to tha gardens.
Have been trying to arrange a 365 meet up but it's hard getting a convenient date for everyone not helped by the fact that Harry & I have such a lot to fit in. I am meeting @andreajoy in Taupo, @julzmaioro & @dide at the Nicau cafe hopefully but if anyone can make it to Hamiton Gardens on the 28th February anytime of the day I would love to meet up.
Thank you again for your continueing comments & interest in all my doings.
Looks like a great day. I can do 28th and it might suit @pitasmum too. I will ask her. Just say when and where and I will be there. But don't stress if you have too much to do, after all it is meant to be your holiday.
@deliad The only thing I'm worried about is driving to the gardens but I have a sat nav & Jo says it's easy so I will come! Would 12ish do do,you think & we could meet at the cafe for a coffee & a snack. Would be good to meet up.
I ididnt' know this song but now I do having located it! Very astute of you to recognise it. I did notice he was Asian and these young children are put into a learning schedule that takes them to the top! I think I prefer the swings and the tree climbing!
@maggiemae Yes me too Maggiemae but they are pushed hard in the Asian world. He looked quite happy & mum was relaxed but a sharp contrast to see him playing there in the playground.
